WristMark ("the App") is built on the foundation of privacy. We do not collect, transmit, or store your audio recordings or their transcriptions on our servers. All speech-to-text processing leverages Apple's native frameworks and runs entirely on your device. We do not operate user accounts or any backend data service.
WristMark includes an optional AI feature that you can activate by configuring your own Base URL, API Key, and model in the app's Settings. This feature is entirely user-initiated — you choose if, when, and which endpoint to use.
When you use AI summarization, transcript polish, or automatic recording-type classification, the app sends the following text to the Base URL you configured:
Audio files are never sent to any AI endpoint. WristMark does not intermediate, log, or retain these AI requests. The third-party provider you configure handles this data under their own privacy policy; you are responsible for reviewing and accepting their terms before configuring their endpoint.
WristMark may offer an optional offline AI feature that runs supported summarization tasks on your device after you download a local AI model. The model download requires an internet connection, may be large, and is stored on your device until you remove it or delete the app.
When offline AI is used, your meeting audio, transcript text, timestamps, and generated summaries remain on your device and are not sent to WristMark servers for AI processing. The download host or content delivery network may process standard network request information, such as IP address, request time, user agent, and downloaded file/version, as needed to deliver the model and maintain security and reliability.
WristMark offers an optional auto-renewable subscription (WristMark Pro). Payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. For subscription management, visit your Apple ID settings.
We may receive anonymized crash reports and app usage telemetry directly through Apple if you have opted in to share analytics with developers via iOS Settings. We use this solely to fix bugs and improve performance.
